Life goals help us complete goals or certain actions along our roadways in life. Everyone has their own goals as the parameter of being satisfied with their life. There can be an unlimited amount of them and making them however you want is your choice. Each and every person must have different perspective on how the perfect life looks like. in conclusion, everyone's got their own goal and ambition because they have different passion and things that they're interested in.
Right now, my life goals are already spread out and chosen. For me, my ideal future is to become an actuary, having a stable job while doing what I want and what I love is a perfect life for me. As actuarial science is a numbers-oriented field, all aspiring actuaries should be interested in numbers. And the fact is I really like math since elementary school. Math is an exact science, that's why I love math. The other reasons why I want to become an actuary is now, in Indonesia, only a few people work as an actuary because actuary are something new in our country. Many companies don’t have actuary even though an actuary are very much needed. So, I think being an actuary is a great job opportunity.
An actuary, many people are attracted to this career because of the salary. It’s a profession that truly rewards you for your hard work and effort. Also actuarial science is consistently voted one of the best careers to pursue. This isn’t surprising as it’s very rewarding. Most actuaries really enjoy their work and are proud of what they do. It’s an all-rounded profession as it offers good employment prospects, job security, growth opportunity and salary benefits. So is there any reason to not become an actuary?
To answer the questions above, the answer is either yes or maybe no. Besides being a top-ranked profession, actuarial science is often voted one of the hardest fields to study. Actuarial work is challenging because it requires a huge range of skills. If I want to become an actuary, I have to work very hard. And I must very good at math, maybe. If you all ask me, I’m not that good at math especially, specialization math. I don’t really good about sin, cos, or tan but I think if I work harder I can become an actuary. Why? Because I have a big ambitions to become an actuary. That big ambitions makes me work harder, I think because of that I can grow, even slowly.
So, that’s it. My goals and my ambition to become an actuary.
